Administrative Assistant to the Director’s Office
Artpace San Antonio, an advocate for contemporary art and a catalyst for the creation of significant art projects, seeks an Administrative Assistant to the Director’s Office. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail. Responsibilities may include screening calls, making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and financial data. Requires strong computer and internet research skills. Also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as all donors, members, guests and vendors. Sensitivity to confidential matters may be required.
The Administrative Assistant to the Director’s Office reports to the Executive Director and works collaboratively with the Manager, Director’s Office and Residency Program to ensure the Director’s office is efficiently run and add support to the staff in their quest for excellence.

Development and Communications Coordinator
Artpace seeks a development and communications manager with passion for Artpace’s mission as well as experience in coordinating the development and outreach activities of a nonprofit organization. Specifically, the Development and Communications Coordinator will support and organize the development and communications operations, manage donor database, reports and outreach, and execute communications tasks as part of overall communications strategy.

Development and Communications Coordinator Position Description
Artpace seeks college and university students to participate in internships for academic credit. Spring, summer, and fall internships are unpaid and run for eight weeks with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week during office hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm). Additionally, Artpace grants one two-month, paid internship for a graduate student in June and July. Internship opportunities are available in the following departments: Archives, Director’s Office, Education/Public Programs, Teen Programs, External Affairs, New Media, and Studio/Exhibitions.
