INAUGURAL SERIES DELVES INTO THE PSYCHOLOGICAL MAKE-UP OF THE ARTISTIC MIND—EXPLORING MEMORY, TRAUMA, AND THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN ART AND LIFE
San Antonio, Texas—Complementing ArtPace's commitment to cultivating diverse audiences for contemporary art and providing a forum for ongoing dialogue, ArtPace's film and video program will engage and educate the community, presenting works by and about contemporary artists. This public program will consist of two series within a calendar year—spring and fall—each relating to an overriding theme, with one film event per month over three consecutive months. Screenings will vary in format and length, and may include feature-length films, documentaries, shorts, animated works, and experimental film and video.
