About the exhibition

What is your approach to printmaking?
I’ve always been interested in printed matter. Especially print that exists beyond museum walls. I make a huge effort to allow print to behave on its own, presented under the romance of country/postpunk lyrics and social political commentary.

What is Snake Hawk Press?
Snake Hawk Press is a special project that brings a fresh and different approach to design. This project puts my work out for the public to devour in a manner that museums cannot. It is popular art riding on a folk art tractor plowing thru contemporary art, or at least that’s the idea—ha.
